- Halaxy charges 1.5–1.9% plus a fixed fee on payments it processes. Every product here, ours included, still sits on top of a card processor’s own fee.
- bacpac publishes a self-referral form for your website rather than a bookable diary; WriteUpp includes booking on Solo but charges £4.95/clinic on the cheaper FLEX plan.

Where others do better. bacpac was built with BACP behind it, which nothing on this table matches. Therasee and MyTherapySuite both offer AI note assistance and we don't — ours is on hold until we've completed a data-protection assessment, because session transcripts are health data and we won't hold them casually. If AI notes are the thing you need today, they're the better buy. MyTherapySuite also tracks CPD hours and reflective practice against BACP/UKCP requirements, which we don't do at all — and every product here has more years behind it than we do.

Where we’re still growing
We believe in being straight with you:
- We’re newer. The established names have years of features — insurance/claims tooling, ePrescribe, deep reporting, large multi-clinician practices. We’re focused and growing.
- We don’t do AI note-taking yet. Two of the newer UK tools do. Ours is on hold until we’ve completed a data-protection assessment — session transcripts are health data and we won’t hold them casually. If that feature is what you need today, they’re the better buy.
- We don’t track your CPD. MyTherapySuite logs training hours, certificates and reflective practice against BACP/UKCP requirements. We keep your supervision records but not your CPD, so that stays a separate job for now.
- We’re not backed by a professional body. bacpac was built with BACP. We’re independent, which cuts both ways.
- Card payments carry Stripe’s standard processing fee (as with any provider) — Faresay adds no commission on top, on any plan. See exactly what you keep →
Compared against the products a solo UK therapist would realistically shortlist. Checked 19 August 2026from each provider’s own public pages; where something isn’t stated publicly we’ve marked it rather than guessed. Prices are quoted in whatever currency the provider quotes — Cliniko publishes in US dollars and Halaxy sells credits rather than a monthly seat, so converting either would be our figure, not theirs. Pricing and features change — please check their sites for the latest. This is a factual comparison, not a criticism of any other product; they’re good tools, built for different needs.
